Bio

Hi! My name is Aidan Sears, and I am a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and educator. I grew up in the Southern California area and was infatuated with music from a very young agethrough “Mommy and Me” music classes, listening and singing to pop songs on the radio, and time in the school band. I chose to pursue a music degree and recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Texas in May of 2025 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies, where I studied with Professors Brad Leali and performed in the Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band. I am extremely fortunate to have shared the stage with many well-known musicians in a variety of contexts including Brad Leali, Quincy Davis, Rufus Reid, Billy Childs, Steve Davis, Vincent Herring, Miguel Zenon, Paoli Mejias, Ed Soph, Matt Wilson, Dawn Clement, Jeff Lederer, Phillip Dizack, Ben Allison, Miki Hayama, Rob Parton, Davy Mooney, Ashlin Parker, Quamon Fowler, Rosana Eckert, Chris Milyo, and Frederick Sanders. Currently, I am the baritone saxophonist with the world-renowned Glenn Miller Orchestra. It is a dream come true and an honor to be a professional musician, and I feel very blessed to connect with people of all kinds on and off the bandstand. Thank you for reading and visiting my site - feel free to drop me a line!
